Soffit, Fascia, & Siding

Soffit

provides a low-maintenance solution for the overhang areas of your home’s exterior. It offers an attractive finish to the underside of eaves and is an important solution to everyday ventilation and tougher challenges. Soffit works to moderate temperature extremes and control moisture in attic spaces. Overhangs on a home tend to trap heat and moisture which causes paint to peel.

Fascia

is also an important element of your roof structure and soffits, and deciding how to protect it is more important than just deciding what color to use . Covering wood fascia with aluminum provides a superior alternative to painting. Fascia boards can be covered using pre-formed aluminum fascia or field-formed aluminum trim coil. And it completely covers the fascia board from the drip edge to the soffit. Professional installers will tell you that properly-installed aluminum fascia looks better than painted wood from the first day of installation, and looks better over the years.

Siding

and wall cladding is the exterior material applied to the walls of a house or other buildings meant to shed water, protect the walls from the effects of weather, insulate, and is a key in the aesthetics of the structure.

Siding may be formed of horizontal or vertical boards, shingles, or sheet materials. Siding may be made of wood, metal, plastic (vinyl), masonry, or composite materials. It may be attached directly to the building structure (studs in the case of wood construction), or to an intermediate layer of wood (boards, planks, plywood, oriented strand board) called sheathing. An intermediate air/moisture barrier such as housewrap or felt paper may be applied to the sheathing or a modern sheathing material also serves as an air/moisture barrier.
